  4.       RESIGNING. Henry Anatole Grunwald, 66, former editor in
  5. chief of Time Inc.; after two years as U.S. Ambassador to
  6. Austria. A native of Vienna who fled the Nazi take over in 1938,
  7. Grunwald strengthened ties with friendly Austria while keeping
  8. President Kurt Waldheim at arm's length. The
  9. journalist-turned-envoy, wrote Vienna's daily Standard, will be
  10. missed "as the son whom we drove out and to whom we owe so
  11. much."
